Hi,
i haven't really talked about any of my school projects, there are actually 3 school projects that i can show on my blog, the other are written projects that i might talk about if i find it interesting enough.
The one i'm introducing today is a poster for a contest in france called « Etudiants, tous à Chaumont! ». Every year this french city promotes a contest for design and art students to participate in with posters, this year the theme is the riots that occurried in french suburbs, where more than 200 cars were burned by french teenagers that feel excluded from their rights.
The theme is officially: "What's behind the uprisings in the Banlieues"

My ideia is to take certain objects used in street art like the marker (for tags) and the spray can (for grafitti) and write the words
Loud and
Louder on these objects, giving the ideia that they are used so the people who express themselves through them can be heard.
I am then going to use a gasoline can an write
Even Louder on it, which means they have tried to be heard through pacific methods and had to use more violent ones to get attention.
The ideia isen't bad but the visual result still has to be worked on.
So that's what i'll be doing today all day long just that....i'll show you the results soon....
Bye:)
